If you benefit from the foodbank, please consider volunteering! Starting in April we began having TWO food distributions a month!!! They will always be on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month! Short Creek Foodbank is holding our next food distribution Wednesday June 14th, 2017. We are looking for volunteers due to the growth that we have seen in the number of people coming in for services. This will be primarily the TEFAP and general food donation from St. Mary's Foodbank Alliance as well. New Volunteer Registration and Training: Due to the expansion of the food distribution program and the increased demand we would like to expand our hours from 1pm to 7pm to accommodate those who are working during our normal distribution hours. We cannot do it without more volunteers. Specifically we are seeking local Short Creek Area volunteers to help us in assisting the community with these expanded hours by serving during the early afternoon shift (3pm to 7pm). Mandatory Volunteer Registration and Training is required. Location: 75 N. Central Ave in Colorado City, Az.

Volunteers need to arrive about 10:45am for the briefing. The truck arrives between 11-Noon. Food distribution begins at 1pm and runs until 6pm (with an expectation to expand our hours to 7pm based upon our volunteer support). If you are local our greatest need is from 2-6pm.
